How long does it take to fly from atlanta to Boston?

About 2 hours and 35 minutes on Boeing 757s and MD-88s, at least as airplanes are being flown in May 2008. Airplanes are flying more slowly to conserve fuel as a cost cutting measure from the airlines, so the time may be shortened when fuel is not so costly.

What type of planes were used in the 911 attacks?

The four planes used in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were:two Boeing 767 wide-body jetliners (American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airline flight 175)two Boeing 757 narrow-body jetlines (American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 93)The four hijacked planes could all be flown with the same training due to the commong "Boeing key", which made for much better coordination and easier training for al-Qa'ida. There does exist an important difference because a Boeing 757 carries only half as much jet fuel as a 767 and the attacks would certainly have turned out differently if 757s had been used against the Twin Towers and 767s against the Pentagon.

How many passengers can a Boeing 757 seat?

The 757-200 is the definitive version and forms the majority of 757s sold. It shares its fuselage cross section with the smaller 727 and 737. Boeing positioned the plane above the 737 and as an eventual replacement for the 727. At first it was meant to be a little shorter in length. In the end it was positioned not only above the 737, but also the 727.This variant can carry 228 passengers in a single class. However, with a seat pitch of 29" it can carry a maximum of 234 passengers. This configuration is also the FAA limit for the aircraft due to emergency exit rules. For the source and more detailed information concerning this subject, click on the related links section (Wikipedia) indicated below.Boeing 757 passenger aircraft carry between 186 and 279 passengers depending on the airline and seating configuration. The Boeing 757 can carry up to 228 passengers, the 757 was originally designed to replace the earlier Boeing 727-200 which carried up to 189 passengers. The Boeing 757 can carry up to 228 passengers, the 757 was originally designed to replace the earlier Boeing 727-200 which carried up to 189 passengers.

What aircraft could fly to Antarctica?

If you are a government interested in supporting the logistics of a scientific research station on the Antarctic continent, you fly the aircraft that is best suited for landing on ice and operating with jet fuels and hydraulics that can withstand extreme cold. If you are a private party, you are best advised to work with an aviator with experience in extreme cold weather flying.

How long does it take to get to Guam from japan?

There is only water between Guam and Japan. Southern Japan (airport code RNJ) is closest to Guam. The distance is about 1420 statute miles and can be travelled by ship or airplane. On a cruise ship it would take 4 days but on an jet airliner, it would take about 3 hours 15 minutes. On the other hand, a luxury yacht could cover the distance quicker whereas a slower aircraft like a turbo prop or a piston powered aircraft would take longer than a jet airliner.... There are over 100 airports in Japan, First class, Second class, Third class, if you need specific information then post the details and I can provide the information.

Shouldyou change the oil in a john deere lx188 hydrostatic transmission?

According to the owners manual,...no. Similar to older vehicles with manual transmissions, not required as long as a good quality lubricant was added. John Deere transmission oil is top notch (same used in their heavy duty tractors), and as long as there is no contamination or fod introduced from leaving the cap off, there shouldn't be any need to flush. However, being a jet mechanic (working on Boeing 757s & 767s), I occasionally flush fluids in all my equipment ,...just like the airlines do as a preventative measure. It really can't hurt as long as you use the exact same lubricant. Switching fluids every time some Joe comes out with another 'wonder' product can potentially harm seals, vanes, and valving. Now engine oil & filter, and especially servicing the air filter are a completely different story as they are constantly subject to contamination via fuels, dust, water, combustion by-products. Good luck!
