Bop was a style of Jazz popular in the thirties, pre-War II. a style of dark glasses was called Bop spectacles ( never as popular as shades). I havent heart the term Bop applied to music for many years, it was mentioned in the song Rocking Robin where it is some form of dance. The pretty little raven at the Birdmen's dance, taught him how to do the Bop and it was grand.. It is obvious from the song , the Bop was a sort of dance. Bop- music not dance, is said to derive from the Spanish- Arriba!- which means imperatively-= UP! and this was shortened to Re-Bop , Hey-Bop and the Re-Bop, and then to Bop. Bop implying impact or boxing punch is something else, for example the banned toy Bop-A-Bear objected to by animal rights groups.
Billboard - magazine - was created in 1894.

It is designed for kids and teenagers but that is my opinion. Adults can read the magazine too. But adults are most likely to read Star and People.
his dog is called anne aparently according to bop magazine <3
YES, because they give out much better posters! Some other magazines have the cover with SOME celebs but on TWIST the cover is FULL with celebs! now get off the computer and go buy a TWISTmagazine but the best magazine of ALL is..................................................................."Popstar! magazine its so much better than bop AND twist!"
Tiger Beat was a sort of Hippie Magazine that seemed to have homosexual overtones. I do not think it is still extant. Bop is a style of Jazz dating to the thirties and small-unit type in scope ( just th opposite of Glenn Miller and large swing orchestrated jazz). Bop is not a current musical style and I am not aware of any attempts at revival.
