It is in the cabin on the passenger side under the glovebox. Remove the glovebox and you'll see the relay in bottom left corner of the glovebox. Behind this you can also see a big flat box with many wires coming out. that's the ECU.
Its under the Clovbox to the left in a metal box
Is your fuel pump running? Turn the ignition on without starting the engine. You should hear the pump run for a few seconds. If not, then check the fuel pump fuse and relay. If it is running and no fuel, replace the fuel filter. If the fuse and relay are good, and the pump is not running, the pump is bad.
its in the relay control box under the hood
the fuel pump relay is located under the dash right behind the console, you need to remove the engine control module.the relay is located behind it.
The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) controls the ground to the fuel pump relay.
In order of probablility: fuel filter, fuel pump fuse, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, control system.
The fused lead goes to the fuel pump relay in the relay center then to the fuel pump in the gas tank. The relay is operated by the engine control module computer
The fuel pump relay allows the pump to be turned on and off. On a 1986 Chevy Astro van, the fuel pump relay is located under the hood and directly in front of the passenger seat, to the right of the A/C clutch control relay.
On a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, the fuel pump relay control circuit is typically located in the under-hood fuse box. The relay itself is found within this fuse box, which is situated near the battery. For precise identification, you can refer to the diagram on the cover of the fuse box, which details the location of the fuel pump relay. Additionally, the fuel pump relay is connected to the Engine Control Module (ECM) for operation.
There is a control relay on the passengers side of the console, behind the console side panel that feeds the actual fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is just in front of the passengers side strut tower under the hood.
A defective fuel pump relay will cause starting problems. In fact if the relay fails the engine will not start at all. But the fuel pump relay has nothing whatsoever to do with the cooling fan.
The Fuel Pump Relay and The Fuel Control Relay which are both exactly the same relay is located in the Glove Box under a little cover on the upper left side. The Fuel Control Relay is the left relay and The Fuel Pump Relay is the right. To test these relays, swap them and then try to start the vehicle, or blow the horn. If the horn blows then use that relay for the pump and you may at least drive the vehicle where needed! If the vehicle starts, then replace them as a pair. (between $14.00 - $20.00 at local parts store) Correction, the fuel pump relay is on drivers side and the horn relay is on the passengers side.
