Eventually. But first they had to do women and children.
of corse! the women and children were the only ones aloud on the life boats!
on titanic all women and children first then some of the men can go in some of the life boats that where left and other men could squish in.
i am not sure wat you mean. if you mean life bout there were 20 that could fit 30-50 men
Yes because when the titanic started sinking, the women and the children were the first to get on the boats, the men were last so they could help the people on the boats.
When Titanic's officers and crew were putting people in boats, they did not save the men first - but if they filled the boats regardless of gender, more people would have lived.
they CLAIMED that the titanic was unsinkible therefor they put only 20 life boats on the titanic, which was not even enough for atleast half of the people on the ship. But each life boat was tested by 75 men on each boat.
more men died because the only had a limited supply of lifeboats so they let the women and children aboard the life boats first so by the time women and children were boarding the life boats the titanic sank leaving many men still on board
This was classic Edwardian chivalry which was not practiced in many other parts of the world. Women-and-children first was the code at the time.
Well mostly the men tied, the women got to go in safety boats while the men stayed on the boat and died. Some women died on the mini boats but others reached land.
They sent only women and children on the life boats and left the men to die. Others that stayed in the ship read their kids to sleep knowing they were going to die.
Because there wasn't enouh lifeboats for everyone, also the people on the life boats didn't believe the ship was sinking at first so they didn't wana be cramped up with a lot of people Well Yes there wasn't enough boats but also the crew didn't fill all the boats up, the boats were suppose to hold up to 65 men(people). But even if they had enough boats they wouldn't be able to load all the boats and send them into the water in time.
Well, people actually threw debris into the ocean, hoping people whom were in the water could grab onto it and live. Officers and crew members and MEN helped women and children into life boats
