Yes,some of them were fishermen and the people who were fishing or who were fishermen were Peter,James and John.Because when they were fishing Jesus appeared to them standing on water telling Peter to go to him while st anding or walking on the water and so as Peter was walking on the water he lost hope and started to drown but as he was drowning Jesus stretched his hand for Peterto hold and Peter took Jesus hand and was pulled out of the water.From there,they decided to follow Jesus and believed in God and then before you knew it they became a disciples of Jesus and this should entertain and answer your Question.
