Answer

The term Apostolic Fathers is a seventeenth-century scholarly designation for a small group of writings believed to have been written by bishops and others who were thought to have known the apostles personally. Critical scholars no longer think that any of these texts were written by authors who personally knew any of the disciples or apostles of Jesus.

What different belief does the Anglican church hold?

Different from whom or different from what? Anglicanism hold to the faith of the early centuries! The Revelation of Christ, Scripture and the Holy Tradition. This is the Catholic Faith and it is taught, interpreted and explained by the Holy fathers of the Seven Ecumenical Councils. It is the Apostolic Succession of both faith and orders! We hold the catholic faith in its fullness , bur we are not the The Body of Christ alone! There are already two organisations claiming that privilege, neither have communion one with the other, we say that's enough. We are a Communion of Catholic Believers within the Body of Christ and seek fellowship with all who hold the true faith!
