Today the best trucks have more features and are more comfortable and the best trucks were built by the Americans.
Chevy is currently considered to be the best manufacturer of pickup trucks
2013 models it would probably be the Buick Verano & Chevrolet Cruze. Of course the Chevy & GMC trucks have the most interchangeable parts of any 2 vehicles built today.
GM is General Motors. They make Chevrolets. Now if you are actually asking if GMC is better than Chevy the answer is no. The only difference in GMC trucks and Chevy trucks is trim. They are identical under the skin. This was not the case decades ago but today they are the same truck underneath.
Although Silverado is commonly associated with the most popular Chevy trucks on the roads today, the term Silverado actually only refers to the trim for the Chevrolet C/K pickup trucks and Suburbans from 1975 through 1999. Therefore, production is from 1975-1999.
