Most peasant revolts were not successful. There was one that was successful in Bulgaria, but the leader was deposed soon after he took control of the government.

Though they were not really revolts as such, there were some times that English commoners had a big influence on government, as when the people of London decided to back King Stephen instead of Queen Matilda. This lead to a withdrawal from the area by Matilda, and a protracted civil war, which ended with Stephen as king and Matilda's son, Henry as heir.

In the long term. Yes. Short term no.

It has changed some thimgs. For example, The government didn’t try another poll tax until 1990. A pro for the king was there was no serious challenge to his power for over a 100 years. Wat Tyler becomes a hero in many stories. The peasants could work for more money and they gained more freedom.

On the other hand, the peasants demanded higher and higher wages so the landowners became powerless. It did not give the right to vote that happened 500 years later. The leaders of the revolt were executed. Most of the rebels were killed by the king’s forces. The king cancelled his promises.
