No-one will ever know, but if they were they can't have been very much on a 'high', since that would have affected their singing ability and their musicianship. They might have smoked a little cannabis during the recording of it, but this is probably as far as it went.
Despite his prolific drug experimentation, John Lennon at least was strictly disciplined about his performing. He would never allow himself to take intoxicants of any sort either before or during a performance, whether this was a live concert or the recording of a studio record.
The Beatles have made the movies A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine and Let It Be.

Yellow Submarine was the first number one beatles song without John or paul on vocals, it featured Ringo Starr, the drummer singing a song written by Paul. The only other songs by not paul or john that made it to number one were "Something" and "For You Blue" by George Harrison
The Beatles made two movies, A Hard Day's Night in 1964 and Help! in 1965, both starring well-known English actors, and neither of which were award-winning cinematic classics, but pleasantly enjoyable comedies. United Artists signed the Beatles to a three-picture deal, mostly because they were interested in selling a soundtrack album for the first one.Not long after, there was also a series of short TV cartoons featuring the adventures of the animated Beatles and their music. These were produced by King Features Syndicate, but the band themselves had no involvement with them.In a period of self-indulgence, the Beatles themselves produced Magical Mystery Tour in 1967, a fairly lacklustre TV-movie about a supposedly enchanted bus trip, again featuring a handful of well-known English actors and songs from their EP of the same name.In 1968, the producers of the Beatles cartoons made Yellow Submarine, a feature-length cartoon movie that the animated Beatles liberating Pepperland from the evil clutches of the "Blue Meanies". It also had little Beatle involvement, but it had their blessing because it finished their movie deal for them.Let It Be was originally planned as a 1969 television special called Get Back, with sessions for a new album filmed as the songs were rehearsed and recorded. It turned into a debacle, with infighting between the Beatles, and was shelved for months. Their accountants finally told them they spent too much money to just "let it be", and a movie release would pay back the costs more effectively. Since "Get Back" had already appeared as a single, the project was retitled, and since widescreen movies were now the thing, the footage was re-edited. The movie appeared in the spring of 1970.The Beatles made two movies, "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 and "Help!" in 1965, both starring well known English actors, and neither of which were award winning cinematic classics, but pleasantly enjoyable comedies as vehicles to further promote them to the world and to feature their latest songs from the albums of the same name. At about this time, there was also a series of short TV cartoons featuring the adventures of the animated Beatles and their music. In a period of self-indulgence, they produced "Magical Mystery Tour" in 1967, a fairly lack-lustre movie about a Magical Mystery Tour again featuring a variety of well known English actors and songs from their EP of the same name. In 1968, the same people who produced the Beatles TV cartoons, made "Yellow Submarine", a feature length movie of the animated Beatles liberating Pepperland from the evil clutches of the "Blue Meanies" all to the music of the recently released "Yellow Submarine" album including orchestral pieces from George Martin. The final effort commenced in 1969 with the filming of the recording of "Let It Be". This movie was actually titled "Get Back", but is possibly more commonly referred to as the "Roof Top Concert". The movie culminates with the roof top performance by the Beatles of some of the "Let It Be" tracks" and is closed down by the police. John Lennon starred in a movie entitled "How I Won the War". George Harrison was a major player in the "Hand Made Films" production company with the Monty Python crew.
The Beatles sang and made Rock and 2Pac was a rapper.

The Beatles made 4 feature films; A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Yellow Submarine and Let It Be. Yellow Submarine is an animated film with a short cameo by the band at the end. The band also appeared in Magical Mystery Tour - a TV "special".There were also two documentaries made - What's Happening! The Beatles In The U.S.A. - which was re-released in 1991 in a re-edited form and the 1965 Shea Stadium concert was also filmed and made into a 50 minute documentary.
Nobody, legally; the Beatles' music is not available for such purposes, under the band's own contract. (Waivers were granted for the remasterings of their work, for Yellow Submarine, Let It Be... Naked, and the recently-reissued remasters.)

The songs used in the Yellow Submarine film were remixed in stereo and issued on CD as the Yellow Submarine Songtrack. These are modern stereo mixes, in contrast to the ones made at the time, which now sound rather peculiar.

I assume you mean the record albums- yes they were big hits. By the way the movie based on the song-and book, inspired some sick but humorous vandalism when it made the papers- the Holland submarine was long displayed in a public park in Paterson, N.J. ( vandals paint Paterson submarine yellow- believed to be a stunt allied to the beatles film!) The sub now resides indoors in a museum. all stop.
The UK albums made by the Beatles were: Please Please Me With the Beatles A Hard Day's Night Beatles For Sale Help Rubber Soul Revolver Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band The Beatles (double album, commonly known as the White Album) Yellow Submarine Abbey Road Let It Be A number of singles and EPs were also released. No, they also made a few movies (Hard Days Night, Help, Yellow Submarine, Magical mystery Tour. Ringo in Caveman) And they started a Business (Apple Corp.) which funded struggling artists, who eventually ate them out of house and home.
It was an easy to learn, "singalong" kind of song, ideal for children and groups. Also, it was the first time Ringo sang on a song that was released as a single, a double A-side, with Eleanor Rigby on the flip side. American DJ's gave both sides equal airplay.
