Yes. Only dogs though. Addendum: There was also a pet pig which managed to be rescued apparently tucked under a lady's coat. It's said that 3 small dogs were also saved, hidden this way, and a Newfoundland swam for 3 hours and was rescued. (There were also an estimated 2000 rat stow-a-ways.)
