There were two variants of the British 1891 Penny minted.

The usual type, and one with date more widely spaced. The Penny with wide spaced date seems to have a significantly higher value for uncirculated coins.

What Australian coins were in circulation in 1891?

No Australian coins were in circulation in 1891. Australia got its first installment of coins from the Royal Mint in London in 1910, including the Threepence, Sixpence, Shilling and Florin. The Pennies and Halfpennies followed in 1911. Any coins circulating in Australian prior to 1910 would have been British coins. Many traders minted their own tokens for varying amounts, but these could only be used in the business bearing the name and address of the trader concerned.

What is the history of the British one penny with Victoria DG with a bun in her hair 1891?

The British Pennies showing Queen Victoria with a "bun" in her hair were issued from 1841 to 1894. The "young head" from 1841 to 1860. What is known as the "Bun Penny" or the "Bun Head Penny" was issued from 1860 to 1894 and show a slightly older laureate bust of Queen Victoria. The bust was designed by Leonard Charles Wyon, son of the designer of the earlier Queen Victoria coins, William Wyon. Pennies of this period always featured the iconic figure of Britannia on the reverse. The legend on the obverse - "VICTORIA D:G: BRITT: REG: F:D:" is abbreviated Latin, the full title being "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITTANNIA REGINA FIDEI DEFENSOR", meaning "Victoria, by the grace of god, queen of Britain and defender of the faith" (more or less). The vast majority of these coins were minted at the Royal Mint London, but during the period 1874 to 1882, some coins were minted at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham in some years. It is thought that 17,885,961 1891 British Pennies were minted. Until 1860, all Pennies were made from copper. In 1860 this changed to bronze, an alloy of 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc, which made them a little more durable. The coins were 30.81mm in diameter and weighed 9.422 grams. Many Queen Victoria Pennies were still circulating at the time of decimalisation in Britain in 1971.

When were 20 dollar silver certificates minted?

They were never "minted" because that term only applies to coins. Bills are printed, like books or magazines.Series dates for $20 silver certificates are all in the 19th century: 1878, 1880, 1886, and 1891. Many different types of $20 bills were printed after that but none were silver certificates.
