I think you should keep following kakashi until he asks you for something[He is near the ichiraku ramen shop.] Do this twice and he will give you a scroll[if he doesent ask you for something then just wait a little bit or do a couple of missions until he asks you for something]or i think you should do the same thing but with sasuke[He is at the top of the hidden leaf gate]
