Were vikings any taller than an average person. in those days i saw a mummified viking that was over 9 feet tall.i wonder if that was the average height back then?

the vikings were only depicted that way because the Norwegians,Swedes,French, and others were very small maybe only 5 foot at the most, so to them 6 foot was really tall! Are you sure you didn't see Goliath, he was a very very tall warrior along time ago used to threaten other armies into giving up. But the average height of a viking was about 5 foot 7.
