Some mummified animals included~ * Cats- Messengers of the Goddess Bastet * Crocodiles- Messengers of the God Sobek * Ibis'- Messengers of the God Thoth * Baboons- Messengers of the God Thoth, etc There were hundreds of other animals mummified also such as snakes and frogs. Though as there were so many Gods/Goddesses, we cannot be entirely sure which God an animal was associated with.
