I think you might be talking about the song "Rocket 88," but that one was actually released in 1951, not 1955. The only singles the group released in 1955 were "Mambo Rock/Birth of the Boogie," "Razzle-Dazzle/Two Hound Dogs," and "Burn That Candle/Rock-a-Beatin'-Boogie."
