Modern whales are believed to be related to ancient mammals based on several lines of evidence, including fossil records, anatomical similarities, and genetic studies. Fossils of early cetaceans, such as Pakicetus and Ambulocetus, show transitional features between land-dwelling mammals and modern whales. Additionally, molecular analyses reveal genetic links between whales and terrestrial mammals, particularly artiodactyls (even-toed ungulates), supporting their evolutionary relationship. These findings collectively illustrate the evolutionary journey of whales from land to water.
Actually dolphins are marine mammals, not fish. As for whales, the blue whale is the largest animal ever (as far as we, humans, know). So whales are indeed rather large fish.
Dolphines are mammals which are closely related to whales. They don't breathe like fish, that's why.
The whales are breathing. They are mammals like people. They do not have gills like fish. I do not know why the mist comes up, but I am sure that when they do it they are breathing. I hope this helped
Orcas will eat seals, and seals are mammals.
Whales are mammals, so they have lungs.
yes they do we are mammals aren't we. we talk dogs bark cats meow whales make their noise so yes. that was a totally dumb question to ask but if you are a young person that doesn't know about mammals then that's okay but if you knew about mammals then that was kind of a question
im not sure what group ur referring 2, but i know their part of the mammals group.
They dont have one, they live under water, but i dont know where they sleep as they are mammals and have to breach every few hours for air.
