You might consider not saying "stuff." If that isn't acceptable to you, you might assure the teacher that you didn't mean to offend him or her. You could say, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. I was saying what I think." But in order to be fair, you should seriously listen to the reason the teacher gives for not liking what you say. It is possible that the things you are saying are not appropriate for the time or the place -- and that the teacher might not be offended or annoyed if you saved your comments for a more appropriate time or place. Some comments hurt feelings or have effects that the teacher might not be allowed to tell everyone. (Teachers are bound by confidentiality rules.)
