When we moved to Mumbai, I wanted my daughter to attend a school with an internationally recognised curriculum. We started searching for good IGCSE schools in Mumbai. What I liked the most about the IGCSE was its broad and flexible curriculum. My daughter can choose subjects she is passionate about, while still studying the core subjects.

During my search for the right school, we came across Witty International School, Malad. We liked how the school’s Cambridge program focused on the student's academics and personal growth. We enrolled our daughter into WIS and the school has made learning enjoyable for her.

Well, there are other IGCSE schools in Mumbai too that parents can consider depending on their child’s needs.

What is the difference between IB education and IGCSE?

The benefits of IB education include a strong focus on critical thinking and research skills, preparing students for future challenges. Whereas, the benefit of IGCSE is that this curriculum offers varied subjects, allowing students to explore various fields. So, students are getting prepared for diverse career paths after IB and IGCSE. Many schools in Hyderabad are offering these curriculums but I chose Glendale International School clearly because they offer support to both IGCSE and IB students, ensuring a well-rounded education.
