NIBBLE is the answer
HOPE IT HELPS :)
I believe what comes after byte is Kilobyte, then megabyte, then gigabyte, then terabyte, then petabyte, exabyte, zettabyte, yottabyte, and more after that...
exabyte
In the context of data measurement, the unit that comes before a byte is typically a bit. A bit is the smallest unit of data in computing and can represent a binary value of either 0 or 1. A byte, which consists of 8 bits, is the fundamental unit used to encode a single character of data in many computer systems.
Before a nibble, which consists of 4 bits, there is a bit, the smallest unit of data in computing, representing a binary value of 0 or 1. In terms of data size, a nibble is half of a byte, which consists of 8 bits. Thus, the progression is bit (1 bit) → nibble (4 bits) → byte (8 bits).
After terrabytes, you get:petabytesexabyteszettabytesyottabytesPussabytesHertzbytesTriaobytesNo more bytesEach one is 1024 times bigger than the previous unit.
PETA bite
I believe you meant difference between a bit and a byte. A byte is 8 bits.
The highest number that can be represented in a byte is 255: 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1If you want 256, then you need another bit ... a ' 1 ' before a byte of all zeros.
There are two nibbles in a byte.
