Many aspirational students believed that these high cut-off standards were unjust because each board had its own system for allocating grades. More than 80 universities, including well-known ones like Jawaharlal Nehru University, Central University of Punjab, Delhi University, and Banaras Hindu University, use the test as a centralized grading system. Based on their CUET results, applicants will be admitted into the affiliated colleges of each participating university. Since many prestigious universities only require one exam, candidates will take fewer tests altogether.
