Ladle refining furnace introduction
Ladle refining furnace refers to both the steelmaking furnace heating refining function of the equipment. It is used to refine the molten steel of the primary refining furnace (electric arc furnace, flat furnace, converter), and can adjust the temperature of the steel, process buffer, to meet the important metallurgical equipment of continuous casting, continuous rolling. The ladle furnace is one of the main equipment for refining outside the furnace.
Silversmiths used many tools such as the graver, hammer, ladle, refining furnace, shears, and tongs.
Ladle refining furnace refining conditions I. Boiler de-dusting Due to the development of modern industry in the 21st century, new requirements for the quality of steel have been put forward, so that almost all converters and electric arc furnaces are equipped with ladle refining furnaces. During the steel refining process, slag and alloys are added according to the process requirements, and physical changes and chemical reactions occur, resulting in a large amount of smoke and dust, which pollute the working environment and pose a biological hazard. II. Flue gas properties Flue gas temperature is an important data for the design of refining furnace exhaust purification, especially when the purification equipment using bag filter, due to the filter cloth temperature resistance conditions, into the bag filter flue gas temperature should not be too high, is generally mixed with cold air to cool.
if u pour liquid metal in a ladle from furnace then cast in a mould, its called ladle tapping
An almond-furnace is a variety of furnace in which slags of litharge which are left in refining silver are reduced to lead by being heated with charcoal.
Secondary metallurgy is a process in steelmaking where additional refining treatments are performed on the steel after initial refining in the primary steelmaking process. This step helps to further improve the quality of the steel by adjusting its composition, temperature, and removing impurities. Secondary metallurgy includes techniques like vacuum degassing, ladle refining, and alloying.
AOD furnace is not used in non-ferrous alloys. AOD = Argon-oxygen process. - AOD process is a widely used method for making quality steel. The charge is melted in an electric furnace and after a slag off it is transferred to the AOD vessel for refining, alloying and final finishing. - The tuyers arranged in a semi circle around the side near the bottom blow process gasses inside the AOD vessel. - The slag is reduced and final additions are made after a preliminary analysis. - The vessel is turned down for sampling, temperature measurement, slag off and tapping and the heat is poured into the ladle for further use. In AOD process there is continual thorough stirring of heat. - The method provides a very close control of heat chemistry. - Computer control ensures repetitive uniform melting and refining. - AOD refining reduces the hydrogen content to about half the value in electric furnace melting. - There is minimal loss of chromium to the slag.
A furnace for refining gold is used to melt and separate impurities from gold ore, resulting in pure gold. This process involves heating the gold ore to high temperatures to melt it, while impurities separate and are removed as slag. The pure gold is then cast into bars or other forms for further processing.
A ladle (Lay-dil)
That is a ladle.
A ladle with a wooden handle protects your hand from the heat of the food you are serving.
"ladle" is "louche" in French.
That is the proper spelling of the word ladle(spoon).
