Deoxyribonucleic acid is a polymer composed of two polynucleotide chains that coil around each other to form a double helix.
DNA is comprised of four structure blocks called nucleotides: adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G), and cytosine (C). The nucleotides join to one another (A with T, and G with C) to shape substance bonds called base matches, which interface the two DNA strands.
