What is the highest point (in feet) can a tsunami possibly reach?

Writing a book, and there's a scene several millions years into the future. An asteroid larger than the ones that wiped out the dinosaurs hits the Earth and I wanted to include a megatsunami that is a direct result of it. Originally, I listed the megatsunami at around 8,000 ft in height but thought that might be unrealistic and far too high. After some consideration, I finally decided on a 4,000 ft tall tsunami. Is that still possible and realistic?
