Almost all universities will accept O-levels as adequate level of education for university or college entrance in the USA. You DO NOT need A levels to enter university in the USA. Most high school graduates in the USA are not as well educated as most O-level graduates in the UK. A-levels are equivalent to the freshman year in universities in the USA. I know this because I know quite a few English kids (my own included) whose O-levels have been more than adequate to enter university in the USA. My son has an Applied Science Bachelor's Degree from Campbell University. He left school at 16 with O-levels. He came to live with me in the States when he was 18 and went straight to university. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and is now an officer in the USAF.
