They have a flagellum, chloroplast, and spores. Because they are single celled organisms, they do not have a nucleus. Their chloroplast contain chlorophyll A and B which gives them the green pigment. The flagellum allows the eulgena to propel and to detect the light (needed for photosynthesis) and the spores form a protective shell.
