heat,pressure,&chemically active fluids
The parent rock (sedimentary or igneous) is exposed to varying degrees of pressure and/or heat either from depth of burial, exposure to a plutonic body of intense heat, or from pressures resulting from the collision of tectonic plates. The heat and/or pressure can transform the minerals inside the parent rock to new minerals, cause recrystallization of existing minerals, cause a chemical transfer of material through fluids, or reorganize the existing minerals into bands and layers. All of these processes take place without any melting of the parent rock.
A metamorphic rock can be changed into:
both temperature, pressure and fluid (PTX).
Temperature, Pressure and Fluids, such as Magmatic Fluids.
Heat, pressure, and temperature
Pyrite could be found in any of the three rock types (sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic).
Rock contained within a sedimentary rock could be igneous, metamorphic, sedimentary, or any combination of the three rock types in origin.
there are 4 bill bob and jerry and the one in abi's head she likes to call a brain Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic.
There are three main groups: Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic.
Many kinds of rocks both of igneous and sedimentary nature eg; Limestone (sedimentary ) to marble or granite or diorite (igneous) to gneiss.
Igneous rock can change into sedimentary rock or into metamorphic rock. Sedimentary rock can change into metamorphic rock or into igneous rock. Metamorphic rock can change into igneous or sedimentary rock.
There are three major types of rock: igneous (formed from the cooling and solidification of magma or lava) sedimentary (laid down as sediments) and metamorphic (changed by heat and/or pressure)
There are three types of rock on the face of the Earth. The three rocks are sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous.
I know one of them...Sedimentary hope i helped... =) All 3 are igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic.
igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic
Sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic.
rocks can change form. There are three main types of rocks, sedimentary, Metamorphic and igneous. igneous. sedimentary rocks are rocks formed from sediment. Metamorphic rocks are rocks formed from heat and pressure. If other rocks are put under heat and pressure then they have a chance to change into metamorphic.
Metamorphic, igneous and sedimentary.
Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary
igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic!
the three major rocks are igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rock. igneous- volcanic rocks sedimentary- rocks with layers on top metamorphic- rocks that formed to another rock
Pyrite could be found in any of the three rock types (sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic).
