they are:
-Skin -Breathing Passages -Saliva -Bacteria in your mouth. Good luck! Hope I helped. :)
Pathogens cause Infectious Diseases by pathogens getting into your body and caused harm.
The skin den the second layer is the phagocyte. These are the barriers of the skin.
The four basic barriers that prevent pathogens from entering the body are 1.The Skin 2. breathing passages 3.saliva in your mouth 4. Bacteria in your stomach They are important because they prevent infections and viruses.
skin tears saliva mucus igestive juices and i dont know why they are important sorry

The Body's first line defense acts as physical barriers, in which it functions by trapping the pathogens and blocking them from entering the body. Also, all first line defenses act the same way to all pathogens, in which they're called non-specific defense.
The first line of immune defense is the skin and mucus membranes. Skin acts as a physical barrior, blocking pathogens from entering. Mucus wihin the nasal cavity blocks some of the pathogens from entering the body. Cilia also aid in protectiong by acting as a barrior as well. There is also mucus lining the bronchial tubes, which like other mucus, blocks pathogens.

The most obvious is the physical barrier - one's skin. The body also has enzymes such as lysozyme and defensins, which are secreted on the exterior, and kill bacteria. The acid in the stomach also kills most pathogens, and the lining of the intestines prevents many pathogens from entering the blood stream from the gut. In the blood, there are immune cells which mark and attack invading pathogens too. It's therefore astonishing that pathogens have evolved mechanisms to evade or counter all of these defences.
your body produces antigens to fight against the pathogens and imune you agaist diseases.
Many pathogens outside the body can be killed with heat or chemicals. Inside the body, pathogens can sometimes be killed with medicine.
