Bacteria interacts with nature by helping make food. They cause disease, help us directly, use endospores, and decomposes organisms into soil.
they make protein and help arrange amino acids in our body
Components in saliva that help protect us from microorganisms: 1. IgA antibodies; 2. Lysozyme (a bacteriostatic enzyme that inhibits bacterial growth in the mouth); 3. A cyanide compound; 4. Defensins
Prokaryotes are in two kingdoms. They are Bacteria and Arche bacteria.
The four things are oxygen, food (nutrients), warmth, and time. Two others can be moisture and acidity, but the above 4 are more prevalent. -nutrients are needed for energy, nitrogen (for DNA and proteins), phosphorus (for energy), and others. -warmth is needed so the bacteria can stay warm..... kinda obvious. if you've ever grown bacteria, you need an incubator to keep them warm overnight. -oxygen is needed so the bacteria can, again, make energy. -time is needed for the bacteria to complete binary fission over and over again. -acidity is needed so the bacteria can survive in its environment. highly base or acidic environments may harm the bacteria and hinder its lifespan.
what are the 4 things that adaptations help organisms to? (Remember #3 Animal Adaptation HW)
Animal,Plants,Fungi and Bactria
helps us breathe
Commandments 4-10 help us to build up our relationship with other people around us.

no 4 things
1 ) some (like in yogurt) eat bad things in your body 2)gets rid of oil spills3) helps clean gas spills4) decomposerWhat some people might not know, is that bacteria is helpful to the human body in numerous ways. Here I will list just 4 ways bacteria helps humans. (1) Certain types of bacteria live in the intestines of humans and they help in digestion and in destroying the harmful organisms. (2) Intestinal bacteria also produces some vitamins required by the human body. (3) There is bacteria that helps to break down lactose in the digestive tract. And lastly, (4) Bacteria on the skin helps to protect humans from different fungus. Bacteria is found everywhere, water, food, and air carries bacteria from one person to another. To keep the harmful bacteria away, remember that antibiotics are the number one killer of harmful bacteria. Always washing your hands with antiseptic soap helps to kill away the bad bacteria.
Raccoons
They do not do what we (or even bacteria do): 1. grow on their own 2. respire 3. take in nutrients 4. reproduce 5. respond to their enviroment
A bacteria splits in half after 20 minutes, so that after 20 minutes there are 2 bacteria, and after 40 minutes there are 4 bacteria. How many bacteria will there be after 2 hours?
