95-97 are very interchangeable. Pretty much all body parts should be. Engine parts depend on which models your are changing between. Your question is too broad, try narrowing it down. What parts did you have in mind?
Not too many. Some light bulbs are interchangeable, the door lock motors are too, and probably some seat pieces; if you worked hard to find a way to fit it, the stereo is probably interchangeable as well. The body parts require heavy modification to swap them, it's usually not worth the hassle, and the engine would, probably, also require heavy modification to fit. These two cars have very different bodies, and drive trains. There will not be a plethora of interchangeable pieces.

Hi! My Volvo is a '95, but probably it's the same. open hood, and close to you, on driver's side, is a yellow handle of plastic dipstick.
the relay needs to be replaced. you will find it behind the hazard switch (attached to the switch - a long skinny thing) I looked forever till someone told me where it was. Even the Volvo parts guy didn't know and Lawrence Volvo of Walnut Creek, CA would not tell me...

Most 98 - 05 parts should be. A fair number of 95 - 97 parts will be, as well.
