Probably the easiest way is to get a recommendation from your regular vet. He/she will have referred cases to veterinary surgeons and be able to tell you who a good vet surgeon is. The good news is, there are very few incompetent veterinary surgeons, so pretty much any one you pick will be a good one.
If you are hardworking, dedicated, and good with your hands, then you should have no problem becoming a surgeon. need not have brains!!
There are two types of veterinarian's. A surgeon, and a veterinarian like the one you take your dog to, to get his/her shots, which I will call vet for short haha. OK a vet is like your doctor that you go to for check ups, but for animals. They are experienced with animals. They just do check ups and prescribe medicine for worms and such for your dog. A veterinary surgeon makes a lot of money. They work at a hospital. An animal hospital. Vets work at doctors offices. For animals. A veterinary surgeon has to go to collage for 8 years. They make very good money and live well. They perform surgery's on the animals. They just do the more difficult and serious things that the vets cant do. Vets make about 2,000$ less than veterinary surgeons do. Veterinary surgeons make anywhere from 100,000 to 150,000$ a year. That's REALLY good. Vets make 80,000 to 95,000$ a year. I'm training to be a veterinary surgeon, I just love working with animals and helping them. I would do it for free if I could. But I have bills. Haha. Hope this helps. :)
It's not likely since most unis want biology for A levels. But if you get good grades, it's worth a try!

Yes, Auburn University is an accredited college of veterinary medicine.
Well depending on how much training you have. If you have gone to medical school than about only 3 years! Good luck becoming one!
"Any weight loss surgeon from Lenox Hill Hospital located in New York is going to be a good, qualified surgeon to use. Their top Bariatric surgeon is Mitchell S. Roslin who has been working as a weight loss surgeon since 1994."
High school classes do not count towards becoming a surgeon. What makes high school important is that you are setting the foundation for getting into a good college for your freshman year. You need to take the college prep classes, keep a good GPA, do some community service, and become involved in your high school in some way. The colleges looks at these factors when students apply. Do well in college and you can apply to medical school to become the surgeon you want to be.
get a good O.P
Yes. Veterinary school is much harder to get into than medical school as there are so fewer of them. You must have good grades, activities, and high test scores. Dedication and common sense are a must as well. It is a very trying 4 years.
