We figure out that Alison had a twin named Courtney.Courtney had Mental problems and liked to pretend to be Alison. One day, Alison was up in Their room, doing Whatever. While Courtney was down stairs. Alison never knew Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna. And Courtney didnt know anything about Alison's bestfriends, so she befriended Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna. Alison's mom went upstairs and saw Alison, and she thought it was Just Courtney Pretending to Be Alison again, so She took Alison back to the mental hospital, and Courtney stayed in Rosewood. Then the night when they were in the Barn having a sleepover, it was Actually Courtney there. After Courntey & Spencer got in that fight, Courtney went outside and went to go meet Ian. When she got there she saw Ian, but then Ali came and they got into this 'Argument' Ali was going to kill Ian and Courntey, but she got to Courtney first. Then she left when she heard Aria ask where Spencer and 'Alison' were. That's why when Aria hired the Medium and she got the note 'Ali Killed Ali' It meant 'Alison killed Courtney' Hoped this helped!
