Revolution (the single version)
chalk song - nike
The Beatles single version of "Revolution" (once again the version recorded by the Beatles themselves) was used as part of a $7 million campaign to sell Nike shoes. Nike reportedly paid $250,000 to Capitol Records. Apple records sued the company, and the versions of the songs recorded by the Beatles can no longer be used to sell products. However, while this was in court, Nike continued to run the "Revolution" ad until 1988. They said that it was a successful ad, and sale rose.
The song in the 2010 Nike commercial (first aired during the Vancouver Winter Olympics) is "Ali in the Jungle" by The Hours.
Although I am not entirely sure, I did read that the Beatles signed a contract saying that none of their songs are permitted to be in any commercials in the eighties after "Revolution" was used in a NIKE shoe commercial.
I think the song playing is "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles.
Originally, I think was a Beatles song.
A cover of "In My Life" - The Beatles . : )
"Express your self"
Hocus Pocus by focus
Misread by Kings of Convenience
Originally it was "The Beatles." But it is also the Wonderland theme song and there is a "Joe Cocker" version, the Beatles version is the best though. Originally it was "The Beatles."
