You have the gist of the verse, but not quite Jesus' actual words:
Matthew 10:29-31 says, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."
Luke 12:6-7 remembers Jesus saying it just a bit differently: "Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows."
The point is that God takes care of His entire creation, and nothing good happens without God making it happen. Indeed, everything about you and every need that you have are all known to God, and God sees to it that all is taken care of. The reasoning is: If God cares about such a minor thing as a bird falling to the ground, how much more does God care about you and what is happening to you!
The European sparrow hawk, an acccipiter hawk, feeds mainly on birds. The kestrel, a small falcon, formerly known as the sparrow hawk in North America, feeds on small birds, insects and mice.

You can check The Bible book name, its chapter, and verse number if we have the verse. It is easier to look it up if you have either the verse topic or the verse itself.
