There is no passage that says that.
Actually... praising God when things are going right is not that difficult a proposition. It may even be regarded as a natural responsefor certain people with certain rearing in certain nations . In "happy moments," we're all pretty much happy with everyone; including God. But it's in the tough times... those times when "praising" anyone or anything is the least and last of our reactions... that The Bible tells us to praise God and rejoice:
"We can rejoice, too, WHEN WE RUN INTO PROBLEMS and TRIALS, for we know that THEY ARE GOOD FOR US - they HELP US LEARN TO ENDURE. And endurance DEVELOPS STRENGTH OF CHARACTER IN US, and character STRENGTHENS OUR CONFIDENT EXPECTATION OF SALVATION. And this will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God Loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His Love." (Rom.5:3-5 NLT New Living Translation)
its not a Bible verse its just a saying
Psalms has many songs of praise. Chapter 117 (two verses long), for example, is a song of praise.
Psalm 34:1
There are many ways to worship. All praise God, some sing songs of praise, repeat verse or just read the bible.
I don't remember any Bible verse like that, but what does it matter how you are, sitting down or lying down or standing up? To praise the Lord is the main thing.
Genesis 24:27saying, "Praise be to the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to my master. As for me, the LORD has led me on the journey to the house of my master's relatives."
Sorry these are not the complete verses, but I am sure you can find the remainder. The translation I used was NIV. :) Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise His name with dancing... Psalm 150:4 - Praise Him with tambourine and dancing...
You can check The Bible book name, its chapter, and verse number if we have the verse. It is easier to look it up if you have either the verse topic or the verse itself.
