President Nixon's visit to China
Yin/Yang is not an invention, it is an ancient Chinese philosophy. I do not believe (not sure) there is information on exactly what century it came about.
I believe you're referring to gunpowder. Gun powder was originally created for Chinese fireworks, the Europeans turned it into a deadly weapon. Guns and Canons devastated the Native American tribes because of 1) the belief in one-on-one combat that many of the natives still believed in and 2) the primitive weaponry of the natives. Of course, there were other factors such as disease that helped the conquistadors in their conquests.
The Chinese invention that was most affected would be the mechanical clock.
If it is a particular Chinese invention, then most likely paper.
