Although Christmas is not such a big celebration in modern day Cuba, people of Cuban heritage around the world decorate their homes for Christmas with accents that are reminders of their land. The traditional seasonal greenery and wreaths have touches of tropical flavor, like bongos, maracas and straw hats. Of course, some tropical fruits like pineapples, mangoes and coconuts can be added to the festive table center, and, on top of all, a Cuba flag could be displayed at an honorary place.

People usually put up a tree. Either a real or fake one. You can usually but both kinds in your local area. On the tree, most everyone I have met has put ornaments on their tree for decoration, including me. You should put stockings over your chimney, holly hanging on top of one of your doorways, and decorate your house with pretty decor. You should put up a wreath and Christmas lights outside. Maybe decorate a tree or two.
