The Old Persian alphabet was written in a simplified cuneiform. It formed a semi-alphabetic syllabary.

The Ugaritic language was written using the Ugaritic alphabet, a standard Semitic style alphabet (an abjad) written using the cuneiform method.

But Cuneiform patterns have no resemblances to any form of alphabetic writing used today.
