actually it is Cindy Lou Who from Dr Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In the story Cindy Lou finds herself awake and thirsty late Christmas Eve, she leaves her bed and finds the Grinch, disguised as Santa Clause, stuffing her family's Christmas tree up the chimney. The Grinch tells a lie involving a broken Christmas light, then gets her the water and sends her to bed.
