The University of Florida requires a cumulative C average on all high school and college academic core courses. The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 from every school attended for students looking to take dual enrollment courses.
I don't know the exact GPA for Florida International University. But you definitely need to get decent grades. A good GPA and a decent SAT score are a must. After you accomplish this, start thinking about ways you can separate yourself from the competition. Extracurricular activates are very important. Lastly, make sure you want to go to Florida International University. I know a lot of students that thought they wanted to go to their dream school, but when they got in and went to that school, they were really disappointed.
