What is the requirements to apply to rider university?

As instructed on Rider University's website, the following are required in order to apply:
1. Complete the Application (the application may be complete via Common App or download and completed on paper)
2. Pay the application Fee ($50 nonrefundable)
3. Submit your transcripts (official transcripts from your high school and for any college work you may have completed while you were in high school)
4. Letter of Recommendation (should come from a school counselor or an individual who can describe your academic potential and personal characteristics. Applicants to the Westminster College of the Arts must submit at least one recommendation from a teacher, instructor or coach in an arts-related field)
5. Submit your test scores (Rider only accepts your BEST score)
6. Submit the essay (located on the application)



If you plan on entering Westminster College of the Arts, an audition is REQUIRED.

The College entrance GPA is 3.0 but most colleges prefer between a 3.4 and a 3.8. With a higher GPA, the chances are very great while if lower, then show the college a talent you may posses to get in. I have a 3.6 GPA and i got into Notre Dame just because i showed excessive talent in two ways, The Talents of Acting and Historical Knowledge. The point im making is that applications need a 3.0 GPA but colleges just want somebody that will help make their college better. They would take a football player, an actor, or a professional singer with a 3.5 over a kid with a 3.9 GPA that is only good on a test. I hope this helped.
