Jakob and Willhelm Grimm
Children's and Household Tales, commonly called Grimm's Fairy Tales was a collection of German folk tales published in 1812 and written by brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.
Hans Christian Andersen wrote more than 156 fairy tales, including "The Emperor's New Clothes" and "The Ugly Duckling." Andersen was a Danish author known for his contributions to children's literature and fairy tales.

Grimm's Fairy Tales was first published in 1812 by the Brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm. It was initially titled "Children's and Household Tales" ("Kinder- und Hausmärchen") and contained a collection of German folk tales.
The brothers Grimm didn't actually write fairy tales, they merely complied existing tales into an anthology.
