What happens after receiving plastic surgery to the eyelids (blepharoplasty) is actually quite positive and noticeable. After receiving eyelid surgery the patient will notice not only a change in their appearance, but also clearer and more open vision. In the process of having eyelid surgery the surgeon removes portions of the eyelid. The result from this is having less of the puffy/heavy eyelids interfering with the patients line of sight. So, when this tissue is removed the patient will actually see more, which is amazing. Additionally, the patient will experience aesthetic benefits, which typically include the removal of baggy/droopy eyelids or those heavy black circles around the eye.

the surgeon will work to tease out small pockets of fat that have collected in the lids. If muscle looseness is also a problem, the surgeon may trim tissue or add a stitch
