Front panel connectors are for easy access and they are located on either front or side line of cabinet. All these connectors are connected to a location on motherboard. There are option to connect multiple pins (Led ,HDD,Power,Reset,USB ,Audio,etc ) some also give a blue connector to have a USB 3.0 on front. All these can be located in device manager .
