What ever Pokemon you decide to migrate from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Firered/Leafgreen. To migrate Pokemon, you need to:
a) Beat the Elite Four and the Champion
b) Have seen every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex (not Manaphy)
c) Actually have one of the above games
d) Use surf to go through the water below Sandgem town, then keep going until you find a building, go inside it, and if you migrated Pokemon, you can re-catch them with a special ball called a Park Ball (if yo migrated a legendary Pokemon, don't fret, the Park Balls are like Master Balls)
To migrate Pokemon, first, you also need to put the six Pokemon form Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire/Firered/Leafgreen into the PC boxes (you can only migrate six Pokemon a day.) Then, start up your Pokemon Diamond (or Pearl, whichever copy you have), then, don't start your game just yet, instead, look down until you see the option "Migrate from _____" (Whichever game you are migrating from.) After that, choose the six Pokemon you want to migrate, then hit ok, and they'll migrate to Pal Park (the building I described earlier.) Also, a word of caution, once you migrate Pokemon to Diamond/Pearl, there is no trading them back to Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire/Firered/Leafgreen. A couple more things I should tell you:
1) When you go into Pal Park, you are timed, the faster you re-catch all the Pokemon you migrate, the rarer the Berry you get as a prize (yes, the prize is a berry)
2) The rarer the Pokemon you migrated, the harder it will be to find in Pal Park
3) Park Balls are like Master Balls (100% catch rate)
4) If you leave Pal Park without catching all of your Pokemon, they won't go away, you just won't be able to migrate any more until you catch the rest of the Pokemon in your Pal Park
5) The Pokemon you migrated will have the exact same stats and same held items as they did when you migrated them, so no worries
6) You absolutely CAN NOT mess with your DS's clock, otherwise, it will have to correct it, then you have to wait a whole DAY to try to migrate (although when you migrate Pokemon, six a day, you have to wait a whole nother day anyway) Have fun!!
