Aaron uses Bug-Types. So, to beat him, I used Staraptor, Glaceon, and Ninetales.
To beat Flint, the fire-Type, I used Empoleon, but against his Drifblim, I used Umbreon, and to defeat his Lopunny, I used Close Combat with Staraptor.
To beat Bertha, who specializes in Ground-Types, I used Empoleon, but if Empoleon fainted, I would use Staraptor, since her Pokemon's Ground-Type moves wouldn't effect him.
