Hi, you download the wrong kernel. The R4i SDHC card shows: "menu?", it mean it can't recognize the software. You must go official website, and download the latest r4i sdhc v1.47b kernel for use.
What music format does a DSi play?
For DSi sound; First go to Online-Convert and browse for your song you want to put on your DSi then select it. (You can only convert WAV and MP3 files.) Just click convert and it will automatically convert it into a M4A File. Now you need to copy the file to SD card using a USB card reader. Put the SD card into the DSi and go to DSi sound and select "play with your music" select that and it will come up with 2 options; 1.
