For DSi sound;
First go to Online-Convert and browse for your song you want to put on your DSi then select it. (You can only convert WAV and MP3 files.)
Just click convert and it will automatically convert it into a M4A File.
Now you need to copy the file to SD card using a USB card reader. Put the SD card into the DSi and go to DSi sound and select "play with your music" select that and it will come up with 2 options;
1. Random
2. /SD Card
Select number 2. /SD Card, then it will come up with all your M4A files (songs) and now you select them and play them.
For r4i;
This is alot easier as you don't necessarily need to convert anything, r4i can play music in MP3 format. Use a USB card reader to access your Micro SD card on the PC and make note of what drive the PC sees it as. Find the music files and copy them to the Micro SD card, then remove it and insert it into the r4i. When you are going to listen to the music on the r4i when the menu comes up select "media" and scroll down to the bottom and you will find your music.
dsi dont play movies or video only on ds(i) music play idont no if they play on r4 card
when you are on DSi Sound , press play with your music .
AAC is supposed to be the format for dsi but m4a works on mine
go to sound on the dsi menu and select play with music on sd card
No. iTunes is not supported by the DSi. It does, however, support the audio format of music downloaded from iTunes.
First of all, get an SD card. Put it in your computer, and import music to it. Put it in your DSi, and play it in the music thing on your DSi. :D
The dsi only takes AAC music files, so you first have to download itunes. After you have itunes, then you put you music in it, go to EDIT and select all. After your music has been selected go to ADVANCED and click on "create aac version". It will take a few minutes. When its done copy the music to an sd card and play it on the dsi.
only dsi
you can find the music on a website and record it on dsi sound or you can get an sd card download a song
You need to change the music format to AAC.
I don't think that there is a DSi charging "dock", and even if there is one, it would be impossible to play music with it. However, if you upload .m4a files onto an SD card, you can listen to music through the DSi's built-in speakers.
import it into your computer and then convert it to acc format. its quite simple
