The absolute rarest card is Tyler the Great Warrior. There is only one copy of this card in existence and it is owned by a boy named Tyler Gressle.
Next on the list are the promotional copies of Maha Vailo, Black Pendant, Dust Tornado, Cyber Jar, Mystical Space Typhoon, and Ceasefire with only a few copies given to top-ranking World Tournament participants.
After those is the Seal of Orichalcos. Although not officially recognized as a card, there are only 15 copies that were distributed to Upper Deck Entertainment officials that were participating in a UDE sponsored tournament. Konami later reclaimed all of the copies after the tournament and the whereabouts of these cards are currently unknown.
Lastly are the promotional copies of Banisher of Light, Giant Rat, Giant Germ, Mystic Tomato, Morphing Jar #2, Fissure, Trap Hole, Gravedigger Ghoul, Tribute to the Doomed, Soul Release, Gold Sarcophagus, and Doomcaliber Knight given to high-ranking World Tournament participants.
depends on what kinds of cards you are talking about... the newest ones are no doubt card carD, tour guide from the underworld, resce rabbit, leviar the sea draon, wind-up zenmains, scrap draon, maxx "c", evolsaur dolkia, and wind-up rabbit. some old cards can include dark sage, the $100 blue eyes that is a secret rare in a very limited edition game, black luster soldier envoy of the beginning, and the original legend of blue eyes exodia pieces (keep in mind that if your cards aren't 1st edtion they are worth less, unless it is a game promo [shonen jump promos arent worth much unless they are synchros])
probably..... exodia god cards blue eyes shining dragon tyler the great warrior (can't buy, only one in existence) and that's all I know...... tyler the great warrior is the best yugioh card in the world!!!!!
Slifer the Sky Dragon, Winged Dragon of Ra, Obolisk the Tormentor, Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning, Chaos Emperor Dragon, Cyber Jar, Cyber-Stein, Dark Magician of Chaos, Fiber Jar, Magical Scientist, Sinister Serpent, Tribe-Infecting Virus, Victory Dragon, Yata-Garasu, Thousand-Eyes Restrict, Cathedral of Nobels, Harpie's Feather Duster, Raigeki, Ring of Destruction, Exodia parts, Cyber Dragon, Marshmellon,
There are a lot more, but it will take forever to type down. The above cards are all my favorites. Although, strangely enough, the three Egyptian god cards are the only ones that you can have three of in yougioh games. (At least in my game.) You can only have one of the Exodia parts (I assume you know what they are.) Raigeki is my favorite of all the cards. It destroys all monsters on your opponents side of the field.

I am a Professional Duelist, and I estimate that that there are approximately: 7,500 different Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards in the English language so far.
Depending on a card's level of rarity (Rare, Super Rare, etc.), how many of that card were printed, and its popularity, certain Yu-Gi-Oh! cards can be worth a lot of money.
