"YES" i do belive in ghosts. i read online that the only way to kill a ghost is to shapen a stick put wateron it and then throw it through a ghost. this will kill the ghost because ghost are 95% dust powder, and dust pawder desolves in water. only 5% of the ghost stays alive, BUT after 2 days the ghost loses so much power it dies. that is the ONLY way to kill a ghost.

Assuming that you believe that ghosts exist, it would be logical to think that a ghost who had believed a cross would repel ghosts in life would believe this in its afterlife and therefore be repelled. However, if the ghost did not have any such associations with crosses in life, why would it fear a cross in the afterlife?
The leading scientific hypothesis about ghosts is "Ghosts do not exist."

The ghosts of Roman centurions have been reported in Britain, most notably around the city of York and at Hadrian's Wall. Among ghost hunters, the centurions' ghosts are notable. Initially, paranormal researchers thought the ghosts were missing their lower legs. Then, people realized that the ghosts were still walking along the roads and paths that existed in their time. Those surfaces were deeper than the current land above them, so the ghosts' lower legs seemed concealed by the dirt (and other materials) that had been added during more recent centuries.
NO Ghosts do not exist.
