About 460.00 ish for a nice one.
Her nice acoustic/electric is a Taylor 912c, I do believe.
An acoustic guitar, fender also has the acoustic electric t bucket. It looks really nice for a nice price. The reviews are good too. You should get it!
It will sound thinner, you'll have less volume but it can be nice to achieve fenderish tones on a humbucking guitar.

Tough one. But if you don't mind the wood, I think Schecter builds a nice one for cheap.
You can look after your guitar by treating it well by not dropping it and keeping it in tune but to keep your guitar clean and the fretboard smooth and nice i would look into dunlops guitar care kit.
electric guitars come in all prices. they start at about 100$ for a new one. you could probably get a really chep one for under that. a decent guitar will cost from 400$ to 1000$ a really nice, high quality guitar will cost more than that. the most is usually about $4000. the most a guitar was sold for was about 1,000,000$.
A wide variety of sounds, you can go from very heavy distortion (overdrive) to very warm and soft clean sounds you can also add alot of effects to it like a nice reverb or some delay for nice soloing work. Also you can play up the neck more easy than on, for example, an acoustic guitar also an electric guitar can be played alot louder, the only downside is you have to have an amplifier to get the best sound out of it or else it sounds like a really bad acoustic guitar
No. Well.... maybe a little - volume-wise. It's all about the overall craftsmanship of your guitar, the quality of wood used etc. If your electric guitat doesn't sound nice when it's unplugged it won't sound nice no matter what pick-ups you put into it.
I Ain't No Nice Guy. Slash plays guitar.
